• 2pie crusts
  • 1lbground pork
  • 1/2lbground beef
  • 3Tbspchopped onions
  • 1/2tspsalt
  • 1/4tsppepper
  • 1cupwater
  • 1/8tspclove
  • 1/4tspcinnamon
  • 1 1/2cupsmashed potatoes
  1. In a large skillet combine pork, beef, onion, salt, pepper and water. Cook at a simmer for 45 minutes.
  2. Add cloves and cinnamon and cook 15 minutes longer.
  3. Add potatoes to the meat mixture while the potatoes are still hot. Remove from skillet and cool at least 1 hour.
  4. Place the mixture into a pie shell. Top with the remaining pie crust, flute the edges and vent the top. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes.
