What better way to warm oneself on a cold winter day than with hot apple cider? This recipe calls for the addition of orange peel, cinnamon, and cloves for added flavor. It’s a perfectly healthy way to warm up during our cold Vermont winters!
This recipe is very simple to make but still feels like a winter treat — and the smell in the house will be wonderful and welcoming!
Hot Apple Cider With Orange Peel, Cinnamon & Cloves
- 1/2galapple cider
- peels from half an orange
- 3whole cinnamon sticks
- 3whole cloves
- Place all of the ingredients in a saucepan, and simmer on the stove over low heat until hot. Serve warm.
