Potato Pork Pie
- 2pie crusts
- 1lbground pork
- 1/2lbground beef
- 3Tbspchopped onions
- 1 1/2cupsmashed potatoes
- In a large skillet combine pork, beef, onion, salt, pepper and water. Cook at a simmer for 45 minutes.
- Add cloves and cinnamon and cook 15 minutes longer.
- Add potatoes to the meat mixture while the potatoes are still hot. Remove from skillet and cool at least 1 hour.
- Place the mixture into a pie shell. Top with the remaining pie crust, flute the edges and vent the top. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes.
